Makasi College of of Health Technology, Ugba- Logo LGA, Benue State has received Provisional Accreditation by the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN), Abuja for the training of Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs), Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEWs) and Retrainees. This is contained in a letter dated 19th July, 2023 by the Board to the College following a report by the accreditation team that visited the College between 11th and 13th of July, 2023.

Recall that, the same institution was issued with a Provisional Accreditation by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) for the training of Medical Laboratory Technicians. This approval from the Council was issued on the 4th of January, 2021.

In a similar vein, the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, (PCN) is also in agreement with the College for the commencement of Pharmacy Department for the training of Pharmacy Technicians. The approval was contained in the letter issued on the 11th of January, 2023.

The Management of the institution use this medium to appreciate all the regulatory Boards for their cooperation in the course of these struggle. The same appreciation is extended to the general public for their patience and show of love to the College Community, there by urging them to use these golden opportunities by bringing their Children/Wards for admission.
