Makasi College of Health Technology, Ugba, Logo LGA of Benue State matriculated 85 Students into the two departments of the College for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The ceremony which was performed on Friday 25th February, 2022 had a large turn up from members of the public who came from far and wide to witness the event.

Addressing the audience at the occasion, the Provost of the College Dr. Yohana Wamanyi appreciated all the Guest for finding time to grace the occasion and charged the matriculated Students to be law abiding citizens and to shun all forms of social vices capable of ruined their lives.

The Provost also informed the audience of the Accreditation status of the College by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria and Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria. He finally call on well meaning Nigerian's to cue into this developmental project.

In a separate speech, the Director, Primary Health Care Services Logo local government area, Mrs. Bridget Kpav appreciated the effort of the Proprietress for bringing health education to the doorstep for all. The Director who was represented by her Deputy, Mrs Christiana Num congratulated the matriculated students and call on Parents and Guardians to send more of their children to this institution so as to become pillars of health industry in the nearest future.

The Registrar, Mr. Agrippah Ityongi in his closing remarks appreciated everyone for finding time to witness the epoch making event and prayed that God should grant them journey mercies back to their places of abode.

Highlights of the occasion were presentation of a medal to a female student who won the best player award in the just concluded Bishop cup for Sankera people, drama and cultural dance all for entertainment.

The occasion was concluded with an announcement on the sale of admission forms for the 2022/2023 in the College which will commence on the 1st of March, 2022.
